That's for the Z170(skylake/kaby lake) boards.
It looks like they are getting to the older chipsets finally.
Sorry guys, I’m confused. I’ve got an asus z170 pro gamer motherboard and the last BIOS available on their website is still for 30 June 17 with the ME update tool showing from 22 Nov 17 (both of which I have applied previously). Isn’t this BIOS here for a different motherboard (maximum viii hero)?

It's just a BIOS someone posted. You have to keep an eye out on the latest for your board on the ASUS site.

Ok, thank you. It’s only because z170 was mentioned so I was thinking why can’t I see it? And then I noticed the pictures attachment was for maximum hero viii. I guess if others are showing up the z170 pro gamer must be imminent

You're welcome. Hopefully you do. Some of us with older boards are a little concerned if we'll get an updated BIOS at all.

Your bios update will be version 3601 Check out this link which shows you all the bios updates to be released from Asus. ASUS Global
Just found about this on a simulator forum and tried it! Got to admit that makes it simple enough for most to understand.
Did You try this utility on your Intel system or only your AMD machine ? The reason I ask is the software runs on my AMD system, but does not run on a similar Intel system that I have. This is what I get every time I run it on the intel machine.

Has anybody found or heard anything yet for Intel?. I have an HP Envy 700-329 with CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 @ 3.40GHz. So far, when I check the Intel's site for either a BIOS/UEFI firmware update or the Display Adapter driver update (NVIDIA GeForce GT 635) , there is nothing past December 2017. Last time I checked was yesterday afternoon.

Ran it on two Intels and one AMD, worked on all of them.
