Getting the same here with Windows Update not offering the update. I think it has been pulled for the time being due to various problems?
I think you're right. This update has broken the scanner function on all my printers. It's all over Feedback as well.

Have a look in Control Panel and Goto 'Programs and Features'. Select 'View Installed Updates' at the top left.

    Hello Mooly,
Checked the View Installed Updates and it has the Security update KB405682 and the Update KB4058702 dated as you've shown. Guess I'm good. Is there a way to make the Update and Security to correctly show the installation?
Thank you for your help and your time!

Hello, Besides the other suggestions you can simply see if you are running version 16299.192. If you are then you are fully updated.
    Howdy Rocky,
Thanks for the additional confirmation type. Both show the correct Build number!!

    Hi,
It's not an easy piece of software to use though. It requires the MC files for both Intel and AMD cpu's and then you have to rename the MC file from Intel so install.bat can find it or else it will throw an error.
    Cheers,
Thanks to @MartinMDL for responding but I'm still a little dubious about any 3rd party s/w that is designed to modify the BIOS! The likelihood of "bricking" the PC seems all too real.

At about 07:30GMT, I downloaded it on the first of my important PCs so no it's still available. The PC updated with no problems by the way

How many people have updated their BIOS? I was always told not to do it if you have no issues and i havent at all as it can go wrong majorly sometimes.

    Not that I know of.

I only see one of those two updates as shown in the image in post #131

    Hi

First of all Happy new year to you all, and thank you for your help and advice in 2017...

Just updated my HP Envy notebook, all seemed to go OK...

All seemed to go OK, checked my Kaspersky AV and the registry key is present :)

Agree with the above though, I have only ever updated, or had the need to update the BIOS once or twice in all the years of owning a PC... so I dont suppose this one will be done, that is if HP even release an update :)
