Yes I looked at that and checked for KB4054022, and its not installed. I did decide to re-boot the machine and had Windows update Retry the install. It sat with the flying dots and then presented that I needed to restart and now I'm at 16299.192. Go Figure ???
Did you check to see if KB4054022, was installed after you did the restart?

And where did you check it? In Control Panel > Programs and Features > Installed Updates
    OR did you go to
System > Update & Security > View installed update history.

The latter is the correct way to check.
AFAIK if your "Winver" is 16299.192, it MUST have installed - unless someone can show differently.

Of course, you can always go to MS Update catalog like @ RingTailCoon did and download it.
That's the easiest way. :) Thanks for mentioning me :)

You are most welcome. Sometimes, with millions of users around the world, MS might not get to you yet with an Update but that doesn't prevent anyone from going to the Update Catalog and downloading it.

I guess some simply like to practice insanity. They know that a certain feature update of 10 isn't going to run on their ancient machine because they've tried over and over again, yet they do it anyway.

That may be out of date because i had an online chat with Norton today and they say that the latest version of Norton Security is up to date as well.
It is out-of-date; I can confirm your notes. I emailed the author on Avira's support four hours ago, but it hasn't been added, either.

Oh, well. It was updated for half the day, it seems.

This KB4058702 apparently is freshly baked and out of the oven. It has to do with some serious security vulnerability speculation on some Intel CPUs. All that I am saying is that I didn't get it, meaning I am probably not concerned. I will trust MS on this one. If you got it and it installed successfully, that's a good sign and you are good to go. Like you said, there is not much detailed information about this critical update..:)
KB4058702 is a Servicing Stack update for Windows. Deals with components of Windows Update.
