No cumulative update from my WU.
I'm not in a hurry. Might just wait it out.
Well. As of 10 am Jan 4th still no KB4056892.
Wonder why. Not that I am anxious to have it.

A regional thing? Still no sign here in the UK on either of my machines. Both just use Defender, so it's not that....

Weird isn't it. Mine appeared around 12 noon UK time after forcing a manual check. It wasn't there at 10AM though.

    How about that.
One of my computers is getting it around 10:15 am EST.

    OK, I am perplexed.

I have 4 computers, 2 tablets and 2 laptops. All of them run Windows Defender and no 3rd party AV.

Only the oldest (about 8 years old) laptop got the update from WU.
    The rest are still waiting.

For those using Bitdefender, they have acknowledged the situation and are working on getting a update out for all of their currently supported product versions as soon as possible. Link to official statement on their website below, which they will update with more info as updates are pushed out.

OK, so it's not regional. Maybe (as this is said to be a fix for the Intel Kernel bug) it's processor based?

I'm still not seeing it on a manual check for updates. Mine are Pentium or Celeron systems, while yours are i5/i7 based.

I'm not sure if it's processor based. This update was delivered even for my friend's old acer 2509 laptop. Maybe it's AV software based? I'm on Defender..
