Hello, @slicendice. You've been MIA I've noticed. Good to see you back posting. :)
Thanks! I've been busy programming/planning and haven't had much to contribute here lately. Nothing in latest build either that causes a WOW or OUCH effect that deserves mentioning. :)

Buildfeed canary is now 10.0.17074.1000 (rs_prerelease.180106-2256)

I guess most people here have noticed the change in D.S. tone. I am sensing signs of burn out - unless I am projecting my burnout.

Just another mushroom in the dark I guess.

Yes. Once converted you can not disconnect it from MS account, nor can you change once associated MS account to another. Up to version 1703 the only possible scenario to get built-in admin account to MS account was to upgrade from 7 when signed in as built-in admin, then opt in for MS account.

Since 1709 all UWP apps can now be used with built-in admin (was not possible up to 1703) and from there user can accidentally switch it to MS account. As I said above, once done this is irreversible
Thanks for the heads up on this, Kari. Rather interesting. Do you think this is a ploy by MS to get people to stay with an MSA or just an oversight? Quite honestly since Gates retired, I've seen some changes with MS that I'm not liking. Things like this here and there.

You may be right, Marty. No <3 at the end of the tweet.

Actually I haven't even checked that. I don't like that feature at all, so I would disable it anyways. Does not bring anything new to the table that a simple script wouldn't already do, except for a container window with tabbed experience and an automatic memory with an annoying popup every time I open a document. Maybe if it matures a bit in the future, I might start to like it. :)

Yes, though being the Insider face must be a god-awful job, so it's hard to blame her for attitude. I expect that she'll be onto other things (she seems to be interested in literally every other thing, so that shouldn't be a problem) sometime this year -- maybe she'll hand it off to Brandon, who would be my prediction. Other possibilities: Jason or Jen.
