Steve posted a YouTube vid of the effect of the KB and benchmarks, before/after. I agree, the description of the KB does not seem to specifically say cpu vulnerability, but it's the only one that came out yesterday amid all the hoopla from the Intel announcement. Maybe it is the wrong one, only one I know of, though.

There are some on the web. It looks like 4K reads are the most affected.

That's because for Fast (and skippy) and Slow, the code was already released in Nov/Dec builds.

Where is the new build? It’s after 10 a, pacific time. No word from Dona or Shawn.

Looks like I downloaded a bum ISO.... or UUP is creating hybrid installations?


Obviously activation doesn't check that registry key. I was surprised it even activated with that OEM key. No MSA on that VM.
