A couple people expressed hope for the middle of next week. No chance. I highly doubt that they'd release a build from before Christmas 2017 in 2018 (always possible, but why?), and people don't even return to the office until Tuesday at the earliest. That adds up to the second week of the month at the earliest.

We will see. I guess they will say something before next Tues.

A few days ago I watched my computer repeatedly restart itself, over and over again.
Never saw that before. Wish we had a pic of the look on your face. LOL! How did you catch it long enough to change the power settings?

A lot of things are working a lot better than in 17046, so I am extremely happy there.
    Good to hear!

Actually, I have the same thing as Leo, and I, too, navigated directly to the folder:

When was the last time you clean installed, Hippy?
Early on in 17046. I thought a clean install might fix the blank tiles upon cold boot > Reboot to get filled problem. What's more is that I looked in my FCU and found have the exact same user folder except the dates are different of course.

I'd say the earliest is Friday the 5th, but doubt that as you say. That would lead into the following week. Possibly Wednesday the 10th?

I think you're correct, Marty, although someone questioned Dona to squeeze the info out of her for the last general forecasted date.

Well, after continually restarting, it eventually got suck at a black screen non-booting mode. A full power-off at the PSU allowed me to get it to boot normally, but the next time I tried to shit down it just hung up - and just to see, I key it stay hung for 3 hours. Finally killed it, then went back to disable Fast startup, which had caused me shutdown issues in the past.

As for the look on my face, you'd be shocked - it was actually more incredulous joy as I thought they had sneaked another build our right before Christmas lol.

As for the backups, that just doesn't make sense - unless it is all tied to your MSA and is getting installed when you log in....

Agreed. I don't see a new build first week at all. Not unless they have gotten the all telemetry they wanted from their limited run of Sets.

I read in some pages dedicated to Microsoft that the Store and Mail and Calendar had received updates, but only for those in the Fast ring, well, I decided to change from Skip ahead to the Fast ring and immediately the two updates appeared, but if I use the trick to re-enter Skip Ahead, the updates disappear, this is very strange, why Microsoft excludes Skip ahead? I don't understand.

Interesting. I installed with skip ahead enabled via registry alteration, so I might try this as well, just to see the differences

LOL! Fat chance, but must have been an elating feeling.

I think I’m special. All kidding aside, I’m such a fanboy and tide into MS that I think they know when I take a dump. Like I posted earlier, I have six W10s (two 17063s) on 3 PCs and a Windows 950XL phone all synced via my MSA. I’ve had the same MSA account since MSN Hotmail back when using 98SE? I vaguely remember. Somewhere around the time of switching from AOHell’s “You’ve got mail” dialup to DSL. That's when I learned there was a whole different Internet out there.

Anywho, you may be right. You tell me. It may get installed upon boot. I’m not that knowledgeable to know. Also, I have the exact same user folder in my dual-boot FCU and IP on my Acer and the FCU on my laptop.

Yes and that must be a very complex piece of software.
