Hmm. When I saw StartIsBack it reminded me of a little utility that an 8F member made with the same name, which eliminated the Start flag on the Taskbar. Dang if I can remember who it was. It sat in the systray. It broke my early 10s, so I quit using it.
Thanks for the link and info, Leo, but I think I'll pass until it gets fixed.
Bad at syncing with Insider builds. I have no problems with my FCUs.
Oh? I looked into that, but Insiders are usually so short-lived that I don’t bother. Not keen on 3rd party apps for such a small problem either. MS will get it fixed sooner or later. Also the nice utility "Edge Manage" from Emmet Gray is broken in build 17063.
BTW, good to see you posting again. :)
It is a very good program and it works excellent for me, also the developer answers and clarifies all doubts almost immediately, I am sure that soon a new version will come out that solves the current problem with build 17063, many developers do not care that their programs work on insider builds.
In this build every time my PC wakes up from sleep, a BSOD appears, I remember that this problem also appeared some time ago in past builds.
After the 5th try, I had success. Removed all files from SoftwareDistribution/download. Previously there were approximately ~16 folders and an equal number of files all but one dated 12/20/17. There were only 3 files/folders with this mornings attempt. I also used the link successfully Reset Windows Update in Windows 10 Windows Update Activation Tutorials . Was able to create an .iso. Install then took about 45 minutes. As mentioned in my previous post, this was a first for me, usually updates without issue.
