After 5 fails and rollbacks on 2 different OS's, I did a clean install from ISO made. All went fine.
My hunch is it's a driver or 2, because of where it croaked and rollback...at 75%, just before finishing, at second (last) boot phase. This happened before I believe, several months ago.
Clean install is not the worst thing. It's been since way before FCU I did one on Insider, so lots of baggage. Got plenty of time till next one sometime mid-Jan.
Success. Imaging the partition. Then I can run disk cleanup and other cleanup programs I use. Then I can start on this - the meatiest update I can remember. No wonder it needed some extra time. Well worth it. If anybody wishes a 17063 ISO please PM me and I can provide a link to my Onedrive. Sorry many people are reporting installation errors.
Installed fine here, little longer than usual.
Don't have Sets, hopefully it's just a register tweak and we'll be able to enable it.
Can't rearrange people in the People menu like in that gif..
Win+Tab is the way to go with the Timeline, not that useful for me tho.
What are those two separator lines in the Windows Update GUI, is that intended or they forgot them.
Bluetooth pairing seems broken, can't pair my phone and use it as a remote control.
I have had some issues with stuff not responding, for example, in Settings --> Time and Language - it starts out on Data and Time. if I select anything else and then click back on Date and Time, it freezes, up to 20 seconds, before becoming responsive again.
But I'm watching Resource Manager like a hawk, and a lot less there than in build 17046. So, thus far all seems well.
Interestingly enough, I've found a couple of other glitches as well, plus a good thing:

One final note - this thing installed fast! I hit the reboot button, and then took the trash out and spent about 20 min away from the computer. I came back and it was already at the lock screen. I got scared that it had, in fact, aborted on my machine, but after logging in I saw the happiness of 17063 on the desktop version, and started looking around.
All kinds of different experiences here with this one. We'll have plenty of time to play/fix/hack for the next 3 weeks or so.....:)

Yes, confusing it is. I received the notification for the quest as well. When I click on the link in the quest at the bottom > "Note: Not all Insiders will see Set as it will be introduced as a controlled study. For more information on this approach see Coming soon to a flight near you! blog in the Windows Insider Program." > it cannot reach the page in Edge.
I guess it's by invite only. We don't count.
