Timothy Leary is in fact dead. I believe he streamed his demise to the Internet - or at least that was rumored. I saw him give a speech at UC Boulder in 1967 at which time he was actually booed off stage by the student audience. He appeared to have taken way too much acid and was pretty inchorent.

Oh? Interesting. Yes, he "Turned on, tuned in, dropped out" at 76. I used to live in that counter culture when young. Great movement, but under the wrong auspice. Mankind will never reach absolute peace, although I'd like to think so.
