Yes I get the warning triangle on Defender. I think it's because the firewall is slow loading? Initially on boot this shows,
Firewall protection 'unknown' . On clicking it leads to this,
Then it clears after a few seconds but the warning icon persists on Defender in the notification area. Had to change from Public to Private network as others have mentioned.

Interestingly enough, mine are always around 500 now...the last clean install I did (last week, clean installed 16299, used .ISO to upgrade to 17046) created one that is 549 MB, so I guess they keep making it bigger as time goes on lol.
I just dragged a window down there - it is not nearly as transparent as before, but there is some transparency - I can definitely see something white is behind the blue taskbar (current color, as it changes with the desktop wallpaper) but it is like seeing a light through heavily frosted glass - you know the light is there, but you have no idea as to the shape of the object emitting the light....
Ahhh, good point. If it recognized that the cartridges were full even when not printing, then the status of the print-heads is mutually exclusive to the contents of the cartridges (which is actually a good thing).
Spellceck b0rked -check. Transparency b0rked - check. Warning triangle on Defender tray icon - check. Deleting favorites in Edge - Edge freezes, and then abruptly shut down. Check.
re: Warning notification on Defender icon: I've actually been getting that since 17046, and it was related to a notification I would receive that "An application has stopped responding" and it wanted me to run the troubleshooter. First two installs, I ran the troubleshooter, and it reset the %Temp% folder location - which b0rked the majority of my install because I use @Kari's tutorial to move the \Users tree to a different drive. This install, I would open Defender, navigate to the warning, and then tell it to dismiss, which threw up a UAC request. After that, it would be fine. Until the next reboot.
On 17063, I still get the same warning about a program not responding. So, I dismissed it again - only the warning notification on the icon remained. So, I reported it lol.
Any fix for the sound issue in Firefox? Firefox is my default browser so this really sucks.
Someone earlier in the thread asked about how to get the computer to shut down correctly. I used the old trick to disable Fast Startup.
After disabling and rebooting, my Defender shield icon is green also (which could be pure coincidence). But as my computer is a Core i7 965 EE based machine, with a mobo that does only BIOS, no UEFI, I have no use for Fast Startup anyway.
HTH
Opened Defender....Performance reported urgent attention needed, apparently hanging or crashing apps....could find nothing untoward in All Apps.
Ran Troubleshooter...followed suggestions....All now working properly in Defender.
Well tried just about all the tricks I know but after 5 attempts still no go. Have a few final things to try so have not given up...yet
