    FYI from Dona:

fyi for people having trouble installing the latest build

some people are having luck installing after an initial gsod if they remove their sd card and other usb peripherals. Others turned off device installation settings to no and the install completed.

You had better have a backup then!

I would not dream of doing this upgrade without a backup in place, or an iso to clean install.

Thanks. I went ahead and created an ISO on your advice. Everything went smoothly and everything seems to be working well. I am now playing with it and testing things.

I decided last night to give UUP another try. I hit check for updates at 9:17. At 10:15 it was only at 67%. I said the heck with it and went to bed. This morning when I brought the computer out of sleep it rebooted and finished updating. I had to leave so I haven't had time to try it. I'm done with UUP until MS fixes the slow installs some of us have. IMHO MS has had way more time then should be needed to get this fixed.

I posted a situation about Wifi going to la-la-land with waking from sleep on FCU... they definitely are messing with it - I turned it all off everywhere I could.. and it's peachy now. Hope it get's sorted with next GA.
    See my post page 5 post# 41.

The last two flights my Logitech Bluetooth speakers would not work....solved by disconnecting USB then reinserting....might be worth trying.

Hopped on my machine this a.m. to find it was ready to restart.
Only 12 min from restart to desktop. That's not bad.

Looking good so far but this PC has a great track record so not expecting any real problems.

Same here except a couple very small glitches, like below

Interesting. I had a few peripherals disconnected, such as my Epson V330 scanner. I connected it and installed the latest drivers (as I have done twice already now when I clean installed to 17046 twice last week) and the scan utility would not recognize the scanner. Rebooted, same issue. It took me unplugging , re-pluggin, and running the scan utility 3 times before it automagically decided to all of a sudden recognize the scanner.

Just discovered it switched my network to public. Might be worth people checking.

Interesting - this build is the first to NOT switch my network to public, all previous builds would do that (much to my chagrin).
