    Win10 setup with Sandboxie

    Hi,
I am trying to use Sandboxie to install Win 10 64 bit on my Win 8.1 PC

Well into the setup, Win10 asks for a Windows username and password. I do have want they ask for but when I type @ in the username, it is displayed as ".

How can I progress past this?

Pls help. I am grateful for any help

    Regards

You need to change the keyboard layout to EN-US. Right now I think your keyboard is set to British (EN-GB)?

Thanks so much. I am running 8.1 but with the "Classic Shell interface", and given this added complexity I can't find how to change the keyboard layout yet.

    Many thanks

I got all confused whether I had to change the keyboard layout in the host Win 8.1 or in Windows 10 (in sandbox).
Following the link you sent, I quickly gave up. I searched the different layouts and ended up typing " when I wanted @, etc.

So, all solved now. Thank you for your help. Your posts pointed out how I could do a "workaround"
