I was thinking that on a first instance, but Windows 8.1 (and first public Windows 10 build this summer) was able to mount them without problem. That's what confuses me.

It doesn't make any obvious sense.. just wondering if it's sthg to do with the content rather than iso per se. I.e. being audio. But why that should be different with a later build of Win 10..

How about this for an idea. Create an iso of an audio CD using current Win 10 and see if that will open/mount ok. If it does, then nothing fundamental is 'broken' - but there's still a strange incompatibility.

Ok. When you say "using current Windws 10", do you mean there's a tool in Windows to create ISO files or can I go ahead with a third party program?

I mean by whatever means but under current Win 10. Which does rather beg the question I'd overlooked.. how do you make an iso of an audio CD? Most tools won't..

By the way, if you've a decent upload speed, you could upload it and I'll have a look..

I didn't do those images, so I have to ask the guy who did them. I can upload one if you want. And yeah, I notied that too, I can't do an iso image from an audio disc, as long as the software detects there ae some different tracks. At least not with common programs as IMGBurn or CDBurnerXP, the first suggest you to do it on .bin format.

    Let me have a look.
