    Hyper-V "Enhanoced Session Mode" : Ok with any system?


    Hello, i turned on the accurate service and checked the option is ticked; it was already the case. Then i did "connect" but the windows for the "Enhanoced Session Mode" settings didn't appear.. So i'm wondering : is this restricted to specific systems/settings? The VM must be already installed?

    What guest are you trying with? It has to be Windows 8.1 or later I believe..

    The virtual machine must have Remote Desktop Services enabled and run Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows 8.1 as the guest operating system
    Use local resources on Hyper-V virtual machine with VMConnect

    As has been already mentioned, the Windows guests must run Windows Server 2012 R2 or later, or Windows 8.1 or later. For Linux, the enhanced mode supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS Linux guests.
