Copy iso to hard drive and then mount as a drive.
    cereberus,,
Thanks for your input. I am in the process of trying to extract my iso files, which is giving me a problem.

When you have the .iso on your main hdd, right click on it and select mount, then you can see the files like they were on a CD...also options to extract. Double clicking the .iso mounts it like a DVD, then right click and eject to dismiss.

    dmholt57,
I really appreciate the inputs from everyone. I just got through extracting two different iso files, and when I clicked on mount for each one it advised the file was corrupted. Are corrupted files repairable. I am lost here.

Extracting and mounting are two different things...I use a 3rd party .iso handler to install without making thumbdrives or dvds

    dmholt57,
well I backed up my files on DVD RW disks and I am really frustrated because my computer is not working correctly without those files. Your third party handler sounds interesting.

System Specs say you are running Windows 10 Pro. What .iso file do you want to run? I use Winrar as my .iso handler and double click setup.exe to start an install.

Virtual Hard disk Files can't be mounted f

    dmholt57,

Your question cannot be answered because I do not know. About five weeks ago my computer crashed, and as I stood there staring at the screen, a message came up that said Windows will repair your computer and reinstall windows. Ever since that crash I have been using my computer with very limited usage. Because, I didn't know that all my program files needed to be reload. Thus, my dilemma is where I am at....totally lost.

Hold down your left Shift key and tell the machine to restart...the next thing you should see are options to reset your computer...

What will be the outcome, will it help the problem I have. You said tell the machine to restart, is that a voice activated command or something else I have to do?
