Is there a way to Virtualize unused disk space on MBR drive?  

I have MBR drive I have been reading about options to use the extra disk-space. 1.9TB ( 3.6TB ) SSD.

I understand I could format a full 4TB drive but it could only be read by my windows machine based on what chipset drivers
are installed and possibly what version of Windows 10 I am running.

I understand that Windows 10 / 11 ( 7, 8, ?? ) via NTFS are limited to a 2TB to load from

My understanding ( after reading and searching ) I could have a second MBR on my main partition that loads after windows load and use that extra space. Sorta like a fake partition only readable when Windows loads. I just want to store any installations and excess and not use it as a work drive. Meaning I run my program/app/instance as normal but the data is read from the fake partition.

In the future ( when they have 10TB labtop drives that are low heat consuming. ) There should be a Windows 10 tweak that would allow me to go beyond 2TB and make it 4TB or even 10TB.

I do not want to use GPT partition just yet. Why? Well I have lots of tools and I am unaware if they will not function with the change in system. That and the whole BIOS v. Ueif ( correct me if I am wrong ) thingy. I know my computer supports that mode
but again reading I am sorta scared that something could happen and despite all the guides showing the ability for me to recover my main drive.

I know my windows uses 500MB for recovery purposes ( system restore and it makes a small format of some sort ), it makes, which has grown into levels of 20G or so. I just wish that I could utilize that unformulated space.

Yes I know that it is healthy for me to have extra space but that is a lot of space and I want to utilize it.

Please tell me what are those PC specific drivers. I can read a 4TB drive, I can format a 4TB drive. I just can not run Windows 10 on it. I already know you can have a MBR that loads after your windows-load ( like how Mac-drive loads your Apple-file systems
after windows loads and you could even run programs from these machines ). I know there is a way. The way I see it, the "Drive" will load up, and appear as a second drive managed from within the OS via a program or application, or even by the machine itself.

........ I just want to see it in action. The way I see things If I could unlock at least 1TB of leftover space without touching the rest I would be happy enough with that, and it would not have any re-precautions of the main MBR, with the remainder 600GB. That seems fair.

paragon did a driver that made the os treat mbr disk greater than 2tb as if it is two separate disks, or something like that.

Might still be available but I have forgotten what it was called.

What makes you think some of your software won't work on a gpt disk?

There should be no reason that any apps cannot run on a GPT disk. The GPT is a detail that only the OS needs to concern itself with, the app could care less nor would it even have any sort of clue whether it is physically located on MBR or GPT.
