One of the possibilities listed in the alert was 'no drive letters assigned'. Open Disk Management as suggested in the alert. If that's all it is then it's an easy fix to assign letters to the partitions.

Could also just be a bad ISO file.

    Luiz,

    I agree with NavyLCdr.
I think the error you are being shown is just Windows doing its best to explain the problem despite not understanding what's going on.

I assume there wasn't a Hash code for you to check the downloaded ISO against?

It should mount the iso on a virtual ODD. There is no partitions.

Nope, I've already tested with many iso and img files. Same message.

This is happening for a while. I've already tested with many iso and img files.
My solution is to open the iso or the image with 7 zip and extract to a folder.

By way of comparison, can you use e.g. this freeware prog to mount it?
WinCDEmu - the easiest way to mount an ISO. And more...

You error message for you, screen OCR'd for search purposes:
The disk image isn't initialized, contains partitions that aren't recognizable, or contains
volumes that haven't been assigned drive letters. Please use the Disk Management snap-in to
make sure that the disk, partitions, and volumes are in a usable state.

    I found this FWIW:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...b-9d32323a1601

Try mounting it using Powershell an see if the error message tells you more:
Unable to Mount ISO file in Windows Explorer

See end of that long post..

The conclusion of that thread would suggest you should try
an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data and most settings

In your case, since you can't mount an iso file, create a bootable Win 10 install disk.
Boot your PC normally then insert that disk.
Browse to it and run setup.exe

    Luiz,

I thought you were referring to a single problem ISO file.

    Does SFC help?
Does the problem happen in another user account?
Does the problem happen in Safe mode?

If not then I think that, as dalchina suggests, you could usefully try a Repair install.
But I suspect you might have already tried this.

I ran sfc /scannow and it couldn't fix

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth said it could be fixed
    and
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth seems to have fixed

    Thanks to all

What was in the SFC results for irreparable items?

You could use these shortcuts to find out
    %windir%\system32\cmd.exe /c "%windir%\system32\findstr.exe /c:"[SR] Cannot repair member file" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"F:\WhereEver\%ComputerName%-SFCResults-Unrepairables.Log""
    %windir%\system32\cmd.exe /c "%windir%\system32\findstr.exe /c:"[SR] Could not reproject" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"F:\WhereEver\%ComputerName%-SFCResults-Non-Reprojectables.Log""
