Hi there,
I have no issues with the Hyper-V VM when attaching an USB HDD or Flash drive to the host. They are seen from the VM.
"You need bridged networking though to connect TO the VM rather than NAT." - how to configure it?
I used RD Connection to connect to the Hyper-V VM to have access to the Video capture devices on the host, i.e. the integrated camera and the attached USB camera.
When using the VMConnect tool the host's Video capture devices were NOT redirected to the VM even in Enhanced session mode which is very surprisingly.
But that was not all, issues with MS software never end up:
Video Conferencing software, such as Skype and TeamViewer Meeting, running on Hyper-V Win10 Pro VM does NOT receive data from the host's web cameras but the Windows Camera app and Skype for Web (Browser not supported) in Microsoft Edge does.
Could someone help?
