    Virtual Drive from Folder

hello, i know i should test by my self. but this is high-risk

    i have C (windows) and D (other)
    my plan are :
    using drive. let say :
    X: mounted from d:\data\office
    Y: mounted from d:\family
    Z: mounted from d:\public

    if the final are
    C, D, X, Y, Z then it should be no problem.

but how if D is not have Drive Letter assigned
    and/or
i change D to M then i hide the drive

so my explorer will only display
    C (windows)
    D (was X)
    E (was Y)
    F (was Z)

thank you for any comment, or help

I think you're mixing Mounted Partitions and Network Drive Mappings... If you remove or change the letter D:, Then X:, Y:, Z: will become unreachable.

yeah,. i though so...then how if i hide ? is that will work ?

    current : C, D
    future :
    C as C
    D become M (hide)
    D was X: mounted from m:\data\office
    E was Y: mounted from m:\family
    F wasZ: mounted from m:\public
