plenty of data on creating a VHDX disk using a Windows install ISO and booting from it (the vhdx disk in Native mode, not as a VM) but are there any instructions on how to create a bootable vhdx system of a Current running W10 system. I want to have the W10 vhdx disk as a bootable option in W11 on the boot menu.

1) create blank vhdx on a separate drive with enough space to hold contents of main C drive plus margin.
2) clone C drive to VHDX using Macrium Reflect (as I know you have it)
3) note driver letter of windows in vhd (say E:)
4) from admin command prompt type
bcdboot E:\windows /p /d
Reboot pc and you can now select vhd to boot from.

Done and working !! (and also used VIBoot to create Hyper-V VM's too -- brilliant - wish I'd used that before). !!
@cereberus -- great way to test loads of different Windows versions without going through the ritual of creating WintoGo systems (although WintoGo does have uses). Also on a large external SSD can have several versions of Windows as well --Great stuff.
