    Can someone please help me with a vmware file with .vmdk extension ?


    I have a big file in my pc , almost 220gb .vmdk file .

    That is supposed to have the Windows 2003 operating system and SAP accounting software in it .

    But i don't know how to install that Windows 2003 and SAP accounting software from that .vmdk file .

    Can someone please help ?

    Its a virtual hard drive you install VMware create a new system and set the hard drive to the file when you then boot the VM you should have the server. Its best to look on YouTube for tutors there are normally a lot of step by step

    Thanks a lot for the reply Samuria ,

    I finally made it work by installing the 30 day trial version of VMware Workstation Pro 16

    It was not working at all with Vmware player 16 .

    I thought both of those were same .

    Anyway i am happy it worked .
