    Application Guard has stopped working

I'm seeing this dialog every now and then:

    Application Guard has stopped working-untitled.png

    Code:
WDAG Report - Container: Error: 0x80070512, Ext error: 0x00000008; RDP: Error: 0x800705b4, Ext error: 0x00000000 Location: 0x00000000
This is MS Edge browser application guard.
sometimes it works just fine, sometimes this is the result and it won't start.

I was not able to isolate specific cases when could this happen, it's completely random.

Have you looked at this? => Turn On or Off Windows Defender Application Guard in Windows 10

    I hope this helps.

    Hi @Paul Black

Application guard is already enabled, I usually use it to visit suspicious sites.
Problem is that sometimes it fails to start and I need to restart computer to let it start without error.

The meaning of this error code is:

    Code:
    0x80070512
    ERROR_APP_HANG
A thread involved in this operation appears to be unresponsive.
The meaning of extended error is not clear but it may be one of the following (depends on API):

    1. Not enough memory resources are available to process this command.
    2. Out of memory
    3. Drive is not installed

Not sure but I have plenty of physical memory and no drive problems.

This is what happens when I start it, it stucks at 90% for a few minutes until crash (screenshot in first post):

Any kind of advice is welcome because I have this problem since MS Edge was released and since OS v1909
I did clean reinstall OS for each new OS release but never tested if any driver could be a culprit.

I want to share my solution which for now works but still undergoes testing...

Yesterday following Windows update was installed on my system:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...date-kb4592438

The update introduces new privacy settings for desktop apps (in addition to store apps)
I noticed this new setting also shows that application guard is blocked from accessing location which
is the likely cause of failure to start properly.

Here is a screenshot of this setting:

It is really sad that security components such as this one require user location in order to work,
I understand this is because isolated browser requires location services but still.
