Can you please record yourself and then send me a video (neither animated GIF nor PNG file) that shows you how do you execute any DOS program that is both downloaded from some website from the internet and is manually installed somewhere in the physical hard drive after you have successfully installed Free Dos with Hyper V?

For example I want to play the DOS version of either Pacman or Mario or Supaplex or Piano game with Hyper V and Free Dos.
Suppose that I downloaded the DOS game from the abandonware website somewhere in my physical hard drive and I have successfully installed Free Dos with Hyper V.

What I must do to play the DOS game mentioned above with Hyper V and Free Dos after successful installation?

Hyper-V is perhaps over-kill for what you want, also you won't have sound in the Hyper-V VM. For Pacman, Mario or other DOS games you may be better off using the DOS emulator DosBox.

Basic Setup and Installation of DosBox - DOSBoxWiki

DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS - Pacman

I understand you very well! Well then thank you very so much then!

But I am waiting for both Wengier and jomcambell to both fix and correct the bug issue with their both save state to and load state from file functionality that I have found in their both most recent, latest and newest version of their DOSBox-X project.

I have already reported this bug issue in GitHub.
Right now they did not succeed yet to reproduce the bug issue so they still don't know where they did wrong and what they must do to both fix and correct this.

But I do believe in them that one day eventually they will both fix and correct day someday.

Read the various HyperV tutorials. No disrespect but asking users to provide videos but also stating how is a rather unreasonable request. We did not mind getting you started but now you have to learn yourself.

Whilst this is absolutely true, using a second vhd works even on system drive (not sure about usb drives but I think it should work - maybe only drives with hard disk attribute set?).

In the end, hyperV is not really best tool reading OPs requirements given no sound. I would use vmware player instead. This is easier now as it can coexist with HyperV without needing to stop the hypervisor.

Well this was the my last request in this forum and I am trying to learn by myself. You helped me a lot and I am grateful.

But I think that Bree's suggestion to use DOSBox to play the DOS games was enough to end this forum.

You never made it clear what your usage was for. Please be more explicit in future. People here are not paid to help, but are willing to help but you need to help us by being much clearer as well.

I don't want to use forums in general when there is no need to.

Just recently I discovered both Hyper V and Free Dos somehow and I was curious to know if I can play DOS games with them.

I downloaded iso files of Free Dos and created virtual machines from them by using Hyper V but when I tried to start any of them I just got this very annoying both not enough and out of memory error and I did not know why I do see this very annoying both not enough and out of memory error even if I allocate a lot of memory and I did not know how to solve this problem so I went here to ask for help.

That's all. But indeed that I had in first place to say that I also wanted to play DOS games, but not only downloading, installing and starting Free Dos with Hyper V.

But I think that this is very pretty obvious.
For what reason I download, install and start Free Dos with Hyper V if I am not going to execute any DOS program that I both downloaded from websites in the internet and then manually installed them somewhere in my physical hard drive/disk then?

I don't like to both see and stare at the black screen/window with the gray english text on it you know.

    Who really likes this anyway?

Now because of DOSBox as mentioned by Bree I don't see any reason for anyone, including me, to use FreeDos at all!

A simple yes would have sufficed!

Thank you. I have used Disk Management to bring any DOS game into the vhdx file of Free Dos and then I tried to play the game.

When I tried to execute the binary file by typing it's name and then pressed Enter I saw the following error: "Runtime error 200 at 0926:0091"

Do you have any idea what exactly does this error says at all?

Because to me this error says nothing at all!
