    Can't disable Hyper-V

I set up WSL2 and I started getting "Internal power error" BSODs and also system freezes without BSODs when I woke my laptop from sleep or hibernate.

I uninstalled Ubuntu and turned off WSL in Windows Features, but I still get the BSODs.

I ran System Info and found that a hypervisor had been detected, even though Hyper-V is disabled according to Windows Features. This led me to guess that Hyper-V is the culprit for the BSODs.

I read somewhere that if I disabled secure boot and restarted the machine a couple of times, the discrepancy between what Windows Features says and what is actually happening would fix itself and the hypervisor would be turned off. But this didn't work.

I have read about various commands I can enter at an elevated prompt to properly shut down the hypervisor, but none of those have worked.

How can I properly disable Hyper-V?

I also get a Cmd window which opens when I boot the machine with the command start /min wsl genie -i and a pop-up which says "Windows cannot find wsl. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, then try again."
I suspect that this isn't what is causing the BSODs, but it's another residual of my WSL2 setup that I would like to get rid of.

    I'm using Windows version 2004.

This command given from an elevated Command Prompt turns hypervisor completely off in current operating system, thus making Hyper-V not functional:

    bcdedit /set {current} hypervisorlaunchtype off

Restart is required after this command.
