@jimbo45 @NavyLCDR @cereberus well said. Great to see the senior members step up. @muchomurka needs a time out to think about his behavior.

I agree, I often do mistakes too. But Kari did more mistakes - in addition to technical one (described in my previous post) he offended his opponent in posts #8 abd #10 as first and without reason, and he did not apologize himself in any way. That is why I do not want to communicate with him in the future.
Hi there
OK you know your stuff --others don't and that's part of the point of communication.
I think the best expression is "When you are in a hole --stop digging".
It's quite possible to correct people in ways that don't have to be overtly aggressive or de-meaning --- Who for example respects bosses that yell and scream all over the place and admonishes staff in front of others --take them in privately and then castigate them . We all have to deal with people in other industries / jobs etc that aren't as well versed in the subjects as the "Experts" - but we try not to "talk them down" etc etc.
It's obvious you know your stuff but I think perhaps a bit of Human relations 101 might be in order.
Last word I'm saying on this --it's up to you.
Cheers

I try. Apologies specifically to you. If I can ask: In doubt, it should be better to ask a question or not to respond than make many incorrect claims, although well meant.
That"s all from me.
OK that's fine -- no probs
You obviously know your stuff and others can benefit so don't give up --teaching anything especially when it seems obvious to you but others haven't a clue or can't understand can be full of frustration but that's Humans for you !!! so no hard feelings.
-- have a good holiday and stay safe
Cheers

OK, I just want to clarify this: an MBR disk does not need System Reserved partition, in addition to not needing WinRE partition. One single partition with Windows is enough, as shown in this video about how to deploy Windows on VHD to be used as native boot VHD:
Complete instructions in this post in Ten Forums Video thread.
Windows cannot be upgraded in native boot VHD. For that, it must be imported to a Hyper-V VM as existing VHD. Tutorial: Native boot Virtual Hard Disk - How to upgrade Windows
In that tutorial, I explain how to mark Windows partition active and create boot records, to allow it to be added to Hyper-V to be upgraded.
