    Windows sandbox

I used Windows sandbox while installing Norton just to test it although I am happy with Windows native programs with MBAM.
I found Norton in the download section of Chrome after closing sand box and rebooting. Should it have been there as I thought closing sandbox deleted everything within it.
I have run scans with defender and MBAM.
I have portable scanners on flash drive I could run - one is EEK and the other is Clam.
I have cleared my cache and all and run sfc.

Am I OK and why did Norton remnant stay in downloads? I am leery to run the sandbox now.

The idea of Sandbox is as it says is a sandbox to test things in. Sandbox isn't persistent so every time you close it, it resets to its default configuration.

    >>Unless I am missing something, that is my point. Nothing should have been left over once sandbox closed but the word Norton was in Chrome's download folder after I closed the sand box and rebooted.

Should there be nothing that was in the sandbox in Windows after closing sand box?

Perhaps Norton is that insidious that it even beats Sandbox.

none of them remain? You mean the Download section of Chrome, right? Or they are still in the Download FOLDER?

I insist it sounds like a bug.

Where is your Chrome dowload folder and what file extension was the "word Norton"?
