Thanks again @jimbo45, I know RC are enabled I checked via the new settings app but will check under the old control panel too.
I will need help with using an IP address to reach the target computer, can you explain how to do this in detail please. :) I’m using Default connection for Internet as creating a new connection affects my Host’s Internet.

    Hi there @Bastet

I don't use HYPER-V now -- the resident expert on that is Kari -- I suggest you look through some of his tutorials in the tutorial section --I think he has some good ones on how to create external switch etc without hosing up Network access on the HOST.

You definitely will need to set up an external switch though. The default connection one is behaving "As designed" --not an error "It's a Feature" as IBM used to say when they were in the business of computer hardware etc (Mainframes).

    Cheers

I’m now looking at RDC to connect the Win 8.1 VM to Win 10 pro however whenever I connect I’m immediately logged out of Win 10 saying someone else is already logged in. There’s only myself using the PC.
RDC is active, I’ve checked Firewall, log in details correct.
I may eventually have to live with the lack of audio.
