Hello again, i recently installed my insiders edition to the wrong drive, my C Drive, i wanted to install it to my DATA drive, if i copy all the VM files that in my C drive , to the actual drive that i want it in, how if at all would that affect my current insiders edition thats in my VMware work station?
or do i have to reinstall the insiders edition to the actual drive that i want it to be in ?

I see you are using VMware workstation so :
Simply copy the entre VM folder to your target. For example the 1809 (current windows build) one in Homes to target HDD. Same procedure for Windows --just use file explorer to copy to new location. Mine is on a Linux Host but same procedure.
Now VERY IMPORTANT - at first boot of the VM on its new location you'll see a prompt "I copied it" and "I Moved it". Choose the "I moved it" option otherwise the vm will boot with a new guuid / machine identifier and you'll lose Windows activation which is a pain.
Don't delete the original VM until you've ensured the new one works and remains activated.
Copying with file explorer and ensuring you use the I moved it option is more reliable in preserving activation (i.e 100% !!) IMO than from the vmware menu using the clone vm option in workstation.
