Thanks Edwin, but I'm not given the option to change my name on Skype. It's synced with my Microsoft account. I read online that I need to unsync before I can change my name, however, it doesn't give me the option to unsync. I've also read somewhere that theres nothing I can do and I will have to create a different Skype profile entirely.

Yours looks like the one from the Store which is the tile App (can't test, I uninstalled to avoid confusion). My version (screenshot, post 7) is 7.40.0.151 and I keep a separate one tied to my MS account that I use online by clicking Skype on msn.com homepage but your screener looks different from that too.

So, the Q still is, what version of Skype are you using and how do you open it, in browser, click tile or open program ?

I open from preinstalled apps on my laptop. And my profile is synced with my Microsoft account.

I changed my name on my Microsoft account last night but it hasn't synced/updated on my Skype account.

    adouble11,

If you haven't already, you might see if resetting the "Skype" app back to default may force it to update your name when you set up Skype again afterwards.

I figured it out. Had to go to the Skype website, edit profile and change it there. There's a 2nd "edit profile" button in the actual edit profile page that I must of missed previously.

    Thanks for everyone's help!
