Thanks Edwin, but I'm not given the option to change my name on Skype. It's synced with my Microsoft account. I read online that I need to unsync before I can change my name, however, it doesn't give me the option to unsync. I've also read somewhere that theres nothing I can do and I will have to create a different Skype profile entirely.

Yours looks like the one from the Store which is the tile App (can't test, I uninstalled to avoid confusion). My version (screenshot, post 7) is and I keep a separate one tied to my MS account that I use online by clicking Skype on homepage but your screener looks different from that too.

So, the Q still is, what version of Skype are you using and how do you open it, in browser, click tile or open program ?

I open from preinstalled apps on my laptop. And my profile is synced with my Microsoft account.

I changed my name on my Microsoft account last night but it hasn't synced/updated on my Skype account.

    adouble11, :)

If you haven't already, you might see if resetting the "Skype" app back to default may force it to update your name when you set up Skype again afterwards.

I figured it out. Had to go to the Skype website, edit profile and change it there. There's a 2nd "edit profile" button in the actual edit profile page that I must of missed previously.

    Thanks for everyone's help!
