New Microsoft Account on fresh install

    Hi guys.

I am thinking of creating a new Microsoft account based on Outlook address when I come to update to Fall Creator's.

I want to make Windows set to default settings which you don't get when you log into your current Microsoft account as it syncs the settings. Otherwise is there a way to reset the synced settings to default?

There's no need to create a new Microsoft account only to avoid syncing settings.

When you install W10 and set it up with a Microsoft account, disconnect PC's network connection when you after setting up the account arrive to Cortana screen before clicking a button:

Your account has been created, but the user profile folder is not created yet, sync settings not picked up from Internet. Now continue Windows setup without network connection.

When on desktop, open Settings which tells that you are not connected to network. Turn sync off:

Now reconnect network. Easy, faster than going through new MS account setup only to avoid sync.

I just remembered that the only thing I'd have a problem with by disabling syncing, is Edge Favrourites which, if I remember correctly, needs other windows settings sync enabled.
