    Hi all.

This issue (double login with pin on Win 10) frustrated me for a while now after the fall content update, however after reading this post I think I managed to fix it.

What I did was disable Windows option to "use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart". This option used to be under Update & Security>Advanced Options and I know for a fact it was never enabled. After the content update however, that option has now moved to Accounts>Sign-in Options and is enabled. After disabling the auto login I have not encountered the problem, so...yay?

Use sign-in info to auto finish after Update or Restart in Windows 10 User Accounts Tutorials

I know this annoyed me a hell of a lot, so hopefully this helps others. If this "fix" was just a coincidence I will update the post.

I was having the same issue about having to sign in twice before I could get in.
    Your workaround works. Thank you.

However, I also notice that by using your solution the time it takes to eventually get to my desktop is much longer than before.
I would venture to say that it took longer time that way than to sign in twice.

In any event, thank you for your solution.

    You are very welcome!

It's interesting that you say it now takes you longer to get to your desktop. I haven't noticed any increase load time for me at all, but I'll be on the lookout.

Annoyed me as well, two machines worked as expected but one kept having to be signed in with pins twice. I have tried your solution and so far it has corrected the double sign-in. Good job, now I can just be annoyed with Groove music being transferred to Spotify that won't even open on my Windows Phone.
