Unable to log into Windows 10. PIN option does not come up

I am trying to log in to my desktop pc which has windows 10.
I get to the screen with the clock time and date and a small pc picture on bottom right corner.
From this screen i usually hit enter or click on something to bring up the PIN login screen.
When I try this my account user comes up as "Will" and then usually under it i code the PIN and log straight on.
For some strange reason i only get a twirling circle for half a secomd and no chance to key a PIN.
There are no ease of access options available and nothing else will pop up period.
I have done many reboots etc. Checked and check all my cables. Cant see any problem with anything.
I have tried various buttons like ctrl delete etc. Nothing at all works.
I am a t a great loss. Using my small tablet now with struggle.

Is this a laptop or desktop ? Your screen with the date-time doesn't have an internet icon next to battery. Are you connected ? Try a hard reset. Hold the power button down until computer turns off. If this doesn't work, repeat 3 times and Startup Repair will initiate.

If you were connected to the web, there should be network icon where I put the arrow in your screen shot (pretty cat). Try the hard reset to initiate Startup Repair or safe mode entry.

I never get a web icon where you have pointed your arrow. Maybe as I use vividwireless which has a modem with a SIM and not your normal phone line LAN type connection. I get good enough net speeds

So painful not being able to log in. The PIN section on the sign in page just twirls for a second and doesn't allow a pin. I have no option for ease of access. No shortcut key seem to do much really. Unsure if there a way to skip the PIN and log in. Tried many options with BIOS, but no access still. Have ordered a new pc. Just wish I could crack this one with some stuff saved in it that I need.

Do you have access to another computer? Or just wait until your new one comes in. Then download Kyhi's Bootable Rescue Disk. It is a live version of Windows. Burn the downloaded ISO file to DVD or extract it to a USB flash drive. Boot from the flash drive or DVD on the broken computer and copy all the files you want to save to a portable hard drive or different flash drive.

If you are going to use a flash drive for Kyhi's Rescue Disk, it has to be made bootable before you extract the ISO files to it. The flash drive should be 32GB or smaller because it needs to be formatted to the fat32 file system.
    Here is the link.
