    unknown account

Via Windows Store I downloaded and installed "Persons" (in Dutch: Personen)
everything works fine (can add, edit and delete persons,..)
but on opening I see an error message "Failed Synchronisation on 1 account"
Selecting this I see a button "Repair Account"
Clicking this I get following message:

    Something went wrong
We can't connect to dub406-m.hotmail.com right now. Make sure you have a connection, then try again.
    Error Code: 0x80072efd

I never used or even know this account.

Do I have a (security) problem?
    What does it mean?
Should an how can I do someting about it?
Browsing the Net yield no answer (do a windows update)
Can anyone help me with this please?
thanks in advance for all answers.

That should be the server settings for your Microsoft account, if you download from the store you log in with your account.
Do you have two-factor authentication on your MS account?

I've just looked up what " two-factor authentication" means and I' dont have that.
I have one single account (<name>@outlook.com).

    Hey aliskander,
Have you checked Settings > Accounts > Email & App Accounts > xxx@outlook.com to see if has Attention Required / Fix Account showing ?

I'm afraid I don't know how to fix the Repair Account issue.

However I think you may be worried that "dub406-m.hotmail.com" is someone's email address. But I don't think you need to worry about that - if it was someone's email, it would be "dub406-m@hotmail.com" with an @ sign instead of a .

I believe "dub406-m.hotmail.com" is the name of one of Microsoft's mail servers.

This doesn't help you solve it but hopefully is one less thing to worry about.
