locker.bat not opening

    locker.bat not opening


    I created a locker.bat to hide some pictures in E drive..no I had to hide reinstall windows 10...now after reinstalling when ever I try to open it it gives an error saying"windows cannot acess the specified path or device. You may not have the appropriate permission to acess the file"
    plis help..
    tried allowing acess by proper ties of the folder in security tab...
    tried getting owner ship by advanced security tak..
    tred doing alternately by in hiding the folder but all the pictures now have a lock icon and cannot be viewd.....plis help melocker.bat not opening-capture.png

    I don't have a solution but you might Edit the .bat file [don't double-click it] and Copy the contents then post that information in a Quote here so it can be seen if there's a problem with the commands in it. And as always it's good to post the exact path to where the image files are located.

    whn I right click to edit it..it shows thislocker.bat not opening-12.png

    then all of a sudden a blank notepad occurs...I remember creating a .bat file with notepad....biggest mistake of my life..i am not a computer person...a medical student and very noob in co puter..sir plis help me...

    It sounds, like it might have been encrypted. Run CMD as admin and copy/paste:
    Code:
    cipher /d /s:E:\
    To reset permissions, download this and select E:

    Resetting NTFS files permission in Windows lab

    Or just use this command:

    icacls E:\* /T  /L  /Q /C /RESET

    sir I did what you said...everything decrypted except for the images...I even did a check on show hidden fodders..and a HLG folder appeared...I tried decrypting it with properties...all the three folders appeared but the the picture in those folders have a lock icon on them and cant be view...locker.bat not opening-123.png

    Just so you'll know, Notepad is the proper tool to use in creating .bat/Batch files as it has no hidden formatting of documents like a word processor program has.

    Try to set the service "Distributed Link Tracking Client" to Auto, then restart.

    sc config TrkWks start= auto
    net start TrkWks /y
