    You can change the name of your account but this won't change the user folder name, just the name you log in with.

    The safest way to have the name you want as the account name and the folder name is to create a new account with your preferred name. Remember to make the new account an administrator if you are going to delete the old one.

    And if you want to control the folder name under \Users, the new account you create must first be a local account - not a Microsoft account with an email login.
