Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

Hello, after a Windows Reset i got a message:
"you need to fix your microsoft account for apps on your other devices to be able to launch apps"
So i deleted and ulinked my Microsoft Account and converted my User as Local User and not a Microsoft Account user.
The problem is that now i cannnot connect back to my Microsoft account. When i click on "Sign in with Microsoft Account Instead" the windows pops up, loading only for a while and after that it disappears.

When i go to App Store and try to login , i get an error before the email/password form is loaded.
When i try to add an email account, i get an error code 0x801901f4.

I created a new microsoft account user, and everything was fine with the new user.
I tried sevelar things, e.g Poweshell apps reregister, deleted Store cache and more, but nothing helped.
How can i reconnect my local account to Microsoft Account?

    Thank u.

    Hi Addie.

Could you please advise what version and build of Windows 10 you are using.

In this thread some solutions are presented.

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-68265256e976

For V1607 access the troubleshooters by,

Windows key + S, search bar appears, type troubleshooting into search bar, troubleshooting appears at top. Click it, window opens, lower right side "Fix problems with Windows Update", click. Window opens, click on “advance”, click on Run as administrator, click “Next”. Should run clean. If not run again. Other trouble shooters are accessed upper left, View all.

In v1703 Troubleshoot is within the settings menu "Update and Security".

For your account please use a browser and go to account.microsoft.com to manage your account. See if you can log in.

Not an answer just my sympathy.

I had to wait a month to get a reset code from MS, My bigest complaint is there contextual use of the words Microsoft Accoount, Hotmail Account, and the Dreded "Outlook" Account and there "sign in using your MS account which pretty much takes over your PC access after you chose to use "sign in w/MS account instead" and whatever you do don't synce your other email accounts! Thats what started my nightmare. Good Luck, I'm strongly considering switching to Linux.

Were you able to log into your account at

    account.microsoft.com

( I think yes based on last bullet.)

You mentioned you registered apps. Was this a general re-register or did you specify the just the store. Might be worth a shot.

Rather than search on error code I decided to search on the issue of not being able to switch to Microsoft account. Wow, lots of hits.

One suggested opening Services and scrolling down to Microsoft Account Sign in. It said it should be set to automatic or manual. What is yours currently set to?
