Hi all,I'm having issues with Windows 10 x64. Occasionally it boots into "preparing Windows" and I am taking into the default desktop. Typically, i I reboot I am logged into my current desktop.TIA for any help.

It sounds like you are being signed in to a temporary profile when this happens. You might see if the tutorial below may help by making sure that you have the correct "C:\Users\(username)" path for the ProfileImagePath value of the SID key for your account.
