I want to change my Microsoft account password and have been given a code to do so. However, when I go to sign in options in settings, I am repeatedly told something went wrong and to try again later. Later never comes, of course

You might see if you may be able to change your MSA password online at Microsoft using OPTION SEVEN in the tutorial below.

Thank you, Shawn. Option 7 worked for me. Speaking as a non tech person, Microsoft seems to make their processes incredibly convoluted. The change codes they gave me yesterday and again after I followed your procedure failed. The third code finally worked.
