Does anyone use a "password manager" service?
I use password exporter for Firefox, but it is only for webpages:
    Home . fligtar/password-exporter Wiki . GitHub

If you want to see what Windows has stored for you, click on the start icon and type Web Credentials and then click on Manage Web Credentials at the top of list.

I did that as well but some time ago I started keeping them in a binder with plastic sleeves. The original is a Word document that's kept on a USB stick that's separate from the PC. I also keep recovery notes and procedures for rebuilding all my PCs together with serial numbers and activation codes for software. This has saved me on several ocassions.
I do this too. I recently protected the USB stick with Bitlocker - belt and braces approach!

It makes me nostalgic about old type passwords:
    "Halt, who goes there ?"
"An old friend with couple of beers"
"Old friend pass, beer stays here"

I've been using RoboForm for years, but it is not a free program. And not made by MS. :)

I use the KeePass + DropBox + USB combination. I can acces the portable .exe with my plugins and the Rijndael encrypted database on-the-fly on any computer and mobile devices.

I have to enter a 30-40 character long Master Password (I'm not giving out the exact number) at least once or twice a day, and that is really a pain. I have a plugin for quick unlock wich is only a few characters (You need to have entered the master password first for it to activate). but I know for certain that I can use very complicated passwords for every account that I own without having to remember them. Also I carry a USB bracelet with me all the time containing the files mentioned earlier. Also I have a scan of my passport and ID + some other important documents in the database aswell. So I always have them with me in case of need :)

Thanks, but remember that USB sticks don't last forever... one of my USB sticks became corrupted.
