Windows 10: Best Source for a Default User Profile?
Best Source for a Default User Profile?
I just upgraded to the Anniversary Update on my desktop PC running W10 Pro and discovered I could not login to a new user account. I copied the Default user profile from my Laptop (running the AU version but W10 Home, not W10 Pro) and that worked.
What is the best source of a Default user profile to fix such new account problems? I could use:
- The Default profile for my PC from the back up done before the AU upgrade
- The Default profile from my laptop running the W10 Home AU version - proved to work
- The Default profile from a clean install of W10 Home on my laptop from Jan 16 (pre AU)
- The Default profile extracted from the W10 Pro AU ISO installation file
Which is the best solution?
