I have screwed up again as usual. I downloaded IMO and wanted to remove it and it said I had to be a admin. to remove it so I logged in as admin. Now I can't get back to normal login. What and how do I get this back to normal login?
    Thanks

A bit difficult to understand what you mean? Could you please explain what you mean with normal login?

Not sure if this is your case but in case you mean the Windows built-in administrator account when you say you logged in as admin, here's one possible scenario I think you might mean, and a solution for it:

    • By default Windows built-in admin account has no password
    • By default if the last user when Windows was restarted or shut down has no password, this user will be automatically signed in next time Windows is started regardless if the same PC has other accounts or not

The above in other words: If you are signed in as built-in admin and has not set a password for this account, when you shut down the PC and restart it later, built-in admin will automatically be signed in. To use any other user accounts you have to sign out from built-in admin and select another user from login screen.

    Some methods to sign out:

    - Click Start, select your avatar, select Sign out:

    - Right click Start, select Shut down or sign out, select Sign out:

    - Open Command Prompt, type logoff, hit Enter

Right-click on Start, you can sign out from here...

That should take you to the Lock Screen, a click on the mouse should get you to the login screen with a list of your accounts to choose from at the lower left. Click on your normal one and log in.

Far more comprehensive an explanation than mine. Your 'snipping' skills are impressive. Still, at least I added a 'how to log in' bit... :)

    Restore Back

I have a problem that may not be fixable. I downloaded IMO and decided I didn't want it so I tryed with Win 10 to uninstall and it would not do this said needed admin permission, I could never get it off. So I downloaded AppFalcon a removal program and logged in as admin and it removed it. Here is the problem it changed my whole desktop. I had folders on my desktop that I stored things in and now they are gone also it change the look of my whole desktop. Is there anything I can do to restore back? I have tried system restore but it never seems to work. This is just what happens when u download crap u think you might need if I ever get this back never download stuff again like this.
    Thanks
    Ben
