    Disable Pre-Login picture

    Win 10 pro, latest updates

    Hi,

My machine has no password prompt at startup.

Ive eliminated the pretty picture page at boot and would like do the same at sign in/out. In fact, since I am the only user, id like to bypass the sign-in page as well, including at startup (the one with what I believe is a human profile icon?

    Hi dalchina

I have all those things covered. I was hoping there was something more I could do to bypass the pre-welcome page picture and the welcome page.

Thanks for always being there to help out.

Hi, not sure what exactly you're still seeing. You can boot your PC without a login. You can disable the lock screen except after a restart.

Maybe these will tell you more...

Ive already disabled the password prompt and the lock screen at startup. Now, when I start/reboot the machine, I see only the Welcome Page before the desktop emerges. Id like to bypass this Welcome Screen if possible.

Also, when I sign-off (not reboot/restart), I still see the lock screen, which must be clicked on, and I must click the sign-in screen button to get back to the desktop (not logon, no password required). Id like to bypass both of these as well.

Win XP allowed you to tweak stuff like this, and I was hoping there was a way to do it in Win 10

Hi there's never been an easy way to disable the lock screen from restart, and it's become harder if not impossible with the anniversary upgrade.

This is supposed to be one way to disable login - I've not tried it, so please see if it works.

Note you have Home not Pro, so in searching for a solution for the lock screen, read any suggestions carefully and check they are relevant to the AU.

Quite a few configuration options have been removed from Win 8 onwards as MS makes this one platform for a plethora of devices.

    Hi dalchina,

My login is disabled, but maybe the added effects I'm trying to achieve just aren't doable?

    Thanks
