    What Start Menu option to Log out current user?


    Can't find how to log out a user in Windows 10.... ?
    I happen to know the command line option for this ("logout", I believe) so I can still do it - but why has MS removed it from the Power options and where is it now? Searching for it in the Start menu does not bring it up - only offer to search the web -duh!

    Found it myself: Right click on the user name in the Start menu.

    You can also always use the Windows Shut Down dialog. Click an empty spot on desktop and press ALT + F4 to open it:

Hello All, After the nightmare update we have all be enjoying, which has reset a lot of my customisation and fonts as well as killing one app, I have also got all my apps showing in my start menu instead of the convenient 'All Apps' button which...
I used to be able to right-click on the "Recent" icon on the start menu and see an option to clear the recent files list. Now it's gone. The "Recent" icon is still there and still functions properly and lists recently opened files, but the "Clear"...
Can I use switch user option on power option list or on start menu list ?
Frankly I would like to be able to customise what used to be the Start Menu. I would like to have the run option available as well as the search option to search files/folders etc, as before. Right clicking on an empty spot in the start menu...
