Pin does not work for login

Hi, I am on latest insider build 14372. For the past view insider builds on this particular machine I can no longer in via pin. Always says incorrect. It use to work. It works on my other machine with same build. I can login with my MS account and change pin.?

    Hello jmsnyc,

You might see if you may be able change or reset your PIN on this PC to get it working again. :)

Sometimes removing the PIN and adding it back my toggle it to work again.

When you're on the sign-in screen, do you have a "Sign in options" link under your avatar to click on and select to sign in with a PIN?

Yes. It shows the dialpad icon for pin and another icon for password. Password is Microsoft account and works

I'm not sure what nondestructive method to try yet since resetting and removing/adding the PIN didn't help.

There's a newer build 14379 available that you might update to see how PIN work afterwards.

Microsoft seemed to restore the remove button for the pin so the thread you linked me too is no longer necessary

I havent rebooted yet but I locked and logged back in with pin without issue so seems to be resolved. Hopefully the issue wont reoccur.

    Thanks for your help.
