    I mistaken and moved both of my accounts into standard user mode Plz help me im desperate i have alot to do and cant open most of the things tried alot of methods cant work plz plz plz help me

    Use option 4 here to enable the built-in administrator account:
    Administrator account - Enable or Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    Use the built-in administrator account to change your user accounts to administrator type. Go back and disable built-in administrator account.

    No. You use the Windows installation USB/DVD to boot the computer and get into command prompt. The tutorial never said anything about re-installing Windows.

    With what? The USB Flash Drive with Windows Installation files on it? As Navy LCDR said, boot from it and follow instructions to get to a command prompt and enable the built-in admin account so you can fix your regular accounts.

    i need to be an administrator to use the media creation tool as well as rufus

I just did a clean install of W10 for a friend. I havent set up a fresh install of 10 and am familar with the structure of accounts in W7> So. Clarify for me the "rights" of accounts(that i set up) in W10 Do they have adminstrator rights?...
I set up standard user accounts for my three Grandchildren. They are not proficient but are capable of using a PC. My concern is that I use Google Chrome & have a password keeper extension that is set to automatically log me into my bank & PayPal...
Is a standard user account really necessary for tight security for the home user or will a well secured administrator account be sufficient?
