I feel like a dummy. I enter c: (enter) and get c:\ from that I enter cd c:\users and it tells me the system cannot find the path specified.
If you still can't find the users dir....from dos prompt....then either its deleted.....or I'm out of ideas
If you can see your C:\ after typing c: Try typing dir that should show you all your directories
Thanks but not there. I am going to get a tech in who has helped before. This has convinced me to have a boot disk or something. I will ask the tech if he can help.
I do appreciate the attempt to help!
Just tried I always thought I would get an error message if not typed the exact way it was spelled, Maybe I am confusing it with Linux. I also found out today that if you press the Tab Key you can cycle threw the folders or programs and open them by pressing the Enter Key.
