Windows 10: standard user account and drive formatting
standard user account and drive formatting

"Perform volume maintenance tasks" is set for Administrators (Group Policy), which must be the default, but that does not stop formatting.
It's 372.2 GB and it's been at 0% for some minutes now.

I can't provide specific details of the PC...
Hi, is there a way I can disable the registry access and GPEdit.msc on the standard account?
I have 2 seperated (physically) SSD drives in my laptop.
Previously I had windows 8.1 on one drive, and I installed windows 7 and upgraded it to windows 10 on the other SSD drive.
I enjoyed windows 10, so I formatted the drive...
On my secondary hard drive, I have some folders that I don't want standard users to see or access. How can I go about doing this? Thanks!
