    Locked out of new install

I did an upgrade from W7 yesterday. Put the computer to sleep overnight. This morning it wants some password. I have no idea what it wants as I did not explicitly set one. How do I get into the system? Do I have to reinstall W7 then do an upgrade again? I never set any passwords on W7 as all of my passwords are in Keepass.

Any help appreciated. (I'm on my wife's computer)

I ended up at a MS site that asked if I forgot my password. In a few steps, it got set and now I'm back in. Obviously, I need to learn a lot more about W10.

Microsoft account is a new sign-in option introduced since Windows 8. It might be something new to you.

I don't like passwords and avoid them whenever possible. I didn't know my account would be locked. Fortunately, it was an easy fix, tho not an easy to find fix.
