I have forgotten an administrator account password and am not even able to get past the "user accounts" in Control Panel" without it. I don't log on to Windows with this account anyway!

It depends on if this administrator account is a local account or Microsoft account.
If Microsoft account, then you can reset your password online at Microsoft to have the new password sync to your PC.

If a local account, then you might see if you may be able to use OPTION FOUR in the tutorial below to enable the built-in Administrator account to use to reset the password.
